Gallery (Aerangis) A vandaceous genus found in shade in humid tropical forests across the African continent and in Sri Lanka. They have white flowers, sometimes with a slight flush of colour. Some species have a spur at the back of the flower, which can be quite long. Some are sweetly scented, while others have no scent at all. Plants grown in higher light levels in cultivation tend to be smaller, with harder leaves, than those grown in more shaded conditions.
